Profit & Loss

What is the Profit in that ? No No there will be a Loss. This two statements are so commonly used and heard all around. Sometimes, some places they are appropriate. They are required. Like in a business tie up, or say for your job or where money matters. But do this statements make sense when it comes to Relation ? Confused ? Let me try to convey what I want to.

 Recently I attended a function. I was somehow standing near to a group of few young friends and cousins of the Bride and Groom. The main point was 'They were young, around 23 or so. Some may be still studying. Some had just joined jobs. Some were still searching. What I noticed was, the innocence on their face. A bundle full of joy on their face. A few naughty lines on the forehead which lead to their mischief. The bond they had between them. The profitless helping hands. And finally whole lot of positive vibes which they emitted.

 I also found two kids, one little girl around 8 years who was performing on the stage and her sister who was around 4 was standing below the stage just in front of her and encouraging her. Gesturing her that you are doing good. 

 I was taken aback by this two sets of people whom I met. My mind started questioning me with a number of questions. It took me around 8 years back when we were like them. Do we still have that innocence ? That joy ? That harmless mischief ? The bond ? The helping hands ? The encouragement ? & Finally The Positive Vibes ? I knew the answer. The Answer was NO. But then what is wrong with us ?
We have started finding profits and we can see loss in relationships. May it be friends or family. We talk to those who can be beneficial. We help those who can help us back. We do not want unity. We want to stand alone. We cannot share success. We cannot see anyone grow, even if its our own dear friend. We have forgotten how to be naughty yet good. How to harass someone yet make him happy. In short we have forgotten the TO LIVE.

If growing up means this. If being practical means hurting our own friends. Then I think we were better off as kids. As we grow we have a lot of responsibilities increasing but that definitely does not mean we find our profit and loss in terms of material. Instead find out the Profit and Loss in terms of Happiness, Joy, Unity. Find out the Profit in making your Family, Friends and Yourself Happy. And I mean Truly Happy.

    This is amazing thought. I think everyone has relations as per Thier benefits. But that's innocence is no longer there. Very well written..keep the good work going.

    WE DONT HAVE TO SEE PROFIT & LOSS IN RELATIONSHIP OR FRIENDSHIP BUT WHEN WE FEEL THAT WE HAVE TO SUFFER FROM LOSS FROM SAME PERSON MANY TIMES WE HAVE TO STOP TO DEAL WITH THEM
